What now?

I have gotten through the c++ tutorial, but am unsure of how to further my progress. Anyone have any advice for someone looking into joining the Software Development workforce?

SL's tutorial is an intro. You're not ready yet. Get some experience. Write some small applications or short codes for your portfolio. Joining an open source project will help as you'll learn version control and build systems which any job will need.

Ok so you have been through the c++.
Now, My advice is to do is pratice. without pratice, its bigger chance to make a bugs on programs.

another advice is how code works and get used with c++: you can do by teach anyone else to fix the bugs or explain how the codes works.. or makes some code for fun...
