I'm thinking you are not asking how, but when/why. The lower your level the easier it is for you to earn an upvote from me. I have a few easy ones. Thank me for fixing your code earns an upvote. Getting the Answerer badge from me from me, gets me to consider awarding the Asker badge. Coding your first code without asking a question and posting it in one of the post your codes here topics, gets an upvote.

The higher your level the higher your question, answer, or code impress me level is. Successfully past that level and earn an upvote. Significantly past that to earn my follow.
