My answer is many Text editors are exists but my choice Sublime , visual code , komodo but I very much like sublime text editor it has some many features....

I mainly use sublime text 2, visual studio 2015, and notepad++. sublime has a no timer trial, vs is paid, and I believe notepad is completely free. there is no best text editor, so go with what you like most and personalize it the way you want. (I prefer the darker themes...which is why I love vs and sublime)

One that I love "ATOM" great little editor and has lots of themes / skins etc that make it more confortable. I reccomend you check it out at the VERY least>: https://atom.io/

Alternatively - Good old Notepad++ (I prefer atom though :D)
