In my mind it always comes the question. If someone wants to give your suggestion then can give it.

There are some not-so-exotic programming languages which are based on natural languages other than English, but they have never expanded beyond the country of origin: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-English-based_programming_languages On a slightly different note, my concern was always the other way round - why on Earth had Microsoft translated those functions in Excel to Polish (and all local implementations for that matter)??? Totally non-transferrable this way, as people who learn to use it in a local version have really big problems with switching.

One language, two languages, three languages, four. Five languages, six languages, seven languages, more! English was dominant on the internet and in the computer industy when some popular programming languages came out. After, English was just used more, I guess. @Gaurav Agrawal Ahem, Mandarin Chinese. Ahem. Cough. 😋

I would not completly agree with this. Imho it's due to the fact that English is since the 20th century the world's lingua franca - the world's language for business, diplomacy, and science. This role was assigned to the English language by the power of the British empire, which is one reason for it. Almost more influencing could be the victory of the US in the first and second world war and their later power and influence in the world.

we had this conversation with a friend of mine. He is the "conspiracy" type of a person and told me that programming languages should be written in ancient greek. I was trying to convince him that a machine knows just binary. Whatever the language is made from, the only thing a machine gets is just bits. But i was wasting my time. Anyway the point is that english is the most famous language so someone has to learn only this to start coding or read another code. Although i struggle to understand or translate some terms in my language....
