I started making HTML webpages in 1995/1996 (I was 16). moved to Visual Basic in early 2000/2001 when making CDs were the rage. I wanted to have a CD Autorun application and could not find anything for my taste. I learned using the "Visual Basic bible" as well as the "Learn VB6 visually" by myself without any courses (I do/did work in IT by then). learned CSS/PHP and kept working on my web skills at the same time and picked up C++. My cousin who also works in IT needed a program for invoices, so I designed one for him which I turned into a sales application with an access backend for another friend (freelancer). Published a few of those codes on the web as well as the applications installer for free (I'm a huge fan of open source). I could read C++ fine by 2004, but hated coding it with a passion. lol Then moved to .net and started to get aquainted with C# and vb.net. progressed a bit in there. more recently, learned Python which I ueed to build a full reporting structure for our service desk data as well as picked up Ruby. started to get back to CPP and loving it a lot more than before. Did most of the courses in Sololearn and I keep playing with the different languages. When I do something I'm most proud of, I usually publish it on Github and here. At this moment, looking at deploying an app between Python or Ruby and Android; still debating the web backend... Also looking at developping my Delphi skills a bit more to try to do Android dev in Delphi instead of C#; but will have to see what the future brings... ;)
