Which one is more common in enterprise applications, C# or java?

Which one of the languages is used more widely and do they have any spesific advantages depending on subjects?

Don't quote me on it, but I think they'd be used about equally - C# is a branch off one of the most powerful language line yet can be confusing, and Java is pretty much universal and is fairly easy to learn (just remember your brackets!) but has limits to its capabilities, especially in graphics (eww circle collisions would be so difficult.)

Thanks, we're currently %100 c# but was planning to move some to java. If they're comparible in size, thats a good move I guess.

Probably Java. Keep in mind the influence and history of companies like Microsoft to corner software development. This can discourage companies from investing development resources in their tools. Open source based companies and software has the fewest strings attached.
