"C by discovery" A bit expensive but i do recommend if you can find somewhere for free or very cheap.

"The C programming language" wrote by the guy who invented the language although it's not geared towards beginners but still doable if you are a beginner.

And "The C++ programming language" wrote by the guy who upgraded the the language.

This app is also a good source for C++ and it's free!

The Dev-C++ program is good choice. Free, fast and perfectly to academic course.
