Is it possible to use java and javascript together in one code?

I want to use the alert message in javascript and one of my codes I created in java.

On this app html,css and JavaScript are coupled together so you can use 'alert' with html not java

so we could use rhino but just not on sololearn's code playground is there a way we could substitute or create a alert message of java in sololearns app just not of javascript?
