Gain more XP in a course once finished?

Question

Once you finish a course, how do you gain more XP for that topic? I've finished HTTP and CSS, and received the certificates but I see that people have thousands of XP for those courses while I only have a couple hundred. What am I doing wrong?

Start challenge using HTML.

You can increase XP's by playing challenges or getting badges for coding.

I think you may also get XP for likes on your answers/comments within the tutorials?

challenges are the main source of xp and if u r confident enough in your course you can challenge higher lvl also to gain more xp.
