How to Change Uppercase letter to lowercase in C++ program?

My C++ Teacher has assigned me an assignment. Her teaching method is not very good. It is difficult for me to understand. I tried to find on Google but methods are difficult to understand there. Can you please help me because I am a newbie. Thanks alot in advance.

No I mean a program in which User inputs a letter in Uppercase and program shows that particular letter in lowercase in output.
