For andriod development which one is better java or kotlin ?

i am a beginner in andriod development so please guide me according to the latest technologies.

they will both perform the exact same, the developing part is the only difference

kotlin is typically the easier one

kotlin is newer and still in its beta stages

both can do the same things

they work together in the same program, and I believe even in the same class

The better one is whichever one you're better at.

I already know Java, and just last week I began to learn Kotlin after speaking with Ace (someone else on this site) about Kotlin. Kotlin has a lot to offer and is now officially supported by Android. From what I've learned and read so far, I would say it's a wise decision to take the time to learn it if your focus is going to be on Android development.
