Should we learn programming at School ?

Hi,

I'm French and I find very interesting to have your minds about the question.
Have some of you discovered programming at school ?
Do you think every students or pupils should discover programming (like any other school subjects) ?
It could be more interesting if some of you have any experience about discovering computer science in primary school or when you were young.

@Andika Same but I live in Malaysia. They only teach the basics.

well, im indonesian.
in here, there is high school called "smk" and study about programing. but it just the basic, like c++ or html.
