I think Java is supreme because it is compatible with almost all platforms. C# is also important because it is Windows friendly

Can't say for sure because every site says something different. Surely Java is one of the top 3 but I would'nt say highest demand. http://spectrum.ieee.org/computing/software/the-2016-top-programming-languages

I always rely on the TIOBE Index for this. http://www.tiobe.com/tiobe-index/

Also my personal opinion: .Net got alot better in the last few years and you can develop platform free too(andriod apps etc). For me the argument Java ist platform free is not valid anymore. And if I had to choose between eclipse and visual studio IDE, I would always prefer visual studio. Reason is: It looks more user friendly (pretty) and the intelli sense is much better. Also you can find official msdn docuentations to everything.

JavaScript is definitely number one... especially with the advent of type script. ....yes I know js is not per say a programming language but it is more popular by far.

Learn a language that is growing in popularity. Most used and declining means a lot of competition with more experience than you.
