I am. I am interested in playing games so one day I thought about making one of my own, that is precisely what brought me to coding.

Technically, I'm from a CS background because my parents were always involved in computers in the 80s, so they brought home computers and told me to do whatever I want on it "Don't worry, you won't hurt anything." As such, I was always fascinated by computers and wanted to learn more & more about all aspects of it. Initially, I began learning C++ in the 90s just for fun really. I didn't actually start using it to make money or do it professionally until I was in my 20s (past 10 years). So for me, although I am CS oriented, I enjoy programming because I enjoy puzzles, patterns, and logic. Even if I wasn't CS oriented, I enjoy it for the same reasoning.

@harsh That's cool man. That's part of what brought me to learn C++ also. Back in the 90s there was text-based online adventure games called MUDs. I started working for one as an area builder, and decided that I could make a better MUD instead, so I bought a server and got started on it. I had a programmer that was handling the code, but he was really lazy and couldn't rely upon it much, so I fired him and decided that I should learn C++ myself so I wouldn't have to rely on someone else. I feel in love instantly and the rest is history. What type of games you work on btw? Nowadays I'm a Unity developer.

@Netkos Ent Sir, your story seems great too. Currently I am working on an FPS game in blender which I think will be available online somewhere in mid-December. Till now I have mostly made games in Python using Pygame library. You may have a look at my last game built in Python:- https://youtu.be/7ufcAbrElw4
