Had you not taken the JavaScript course I would strongly recommend you to start with HTML first, then move on to JavaScript, because learning JavaScript without knowing HTML is like learning to install a powerful Ferrari engine but you don't know chassis work, HTML is static, JavaScript adds dynamism to HTML so it can be interactive and flexible. Javascript is a programming language, HTML a scripting language. HTML is the structure for your website, Javascript makes it come alive. Javascript can calculate 1+1, HTML cant. ... As you see, their tasks and abilities differ in various ways.
