Coding Android Apps

Question

Am I right assuming that for coding apps, Java and/or Kotlin are one of the best choices - if not the best.
If yes, to what degree skills in Html/CSS are needed or an advantage to code apps?

both html and css are not needed in android development, you will use XML instead
