yes in fact its on top of the languages that are used in AI, ML, DS, Computer Vision etc because of its vast libraries that comes in handy. It does not mean that other languages can't be used, they are useful too its a matter of what your project need and which language you prefer over the other

not really! why you mostly see python codes for ML. because they are much clear. A typical code for simple ml in c++ may look hard to understand same is with many other languages. what you do with python, you can also do it with other lang but using python will help.
