what I mean is excluding with HTML, PHP, SQL, JavaScript other essential skills to develop a static or dynamic website like a pro..

I want to make my career as web developer.. so could anyone please tell me how to improve my skills to build professional websites and applications..

Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator may be very helpful to you. Some folks are leaning away from PHP and going to Node.js. Flash is out. WebGL is in.
