by boot the another os in external hard drive you can use two os in system and by the concept of virtual machine you can use 2 os in a system by using VMware or virtualbox and create a virtual machine, then install the OS of your choice in that.  https://www.quora.com/How-do-I-run-two-operating-systems-on-one-laptop

Basically there are two ways to run multiple OSs on the same PC: 1. Using dual/multi boot (the OS is installed on the HardDrive, on separate partitions). 2. Using a virtualization software (like virtualbox.org). Hope this helps! :)

Better to use Virtual Machine with VMWare or Virtualbox for example.

you can dual boot your laptop ( use Rufus to do that ) or run virtual box or VM ware ( a virtual machine in which your second os will be running in the base os )
