Do Web Design employers have any bias for AS or BS over AA or BA degrees?

I've read many articles stating that a degree isn't even necessary, but I would definitely feel more confident with a degree under my belt. I understand the difference between arts and science degrees, but I'd like to hear back from any of you guys currently working in the field if your degree type had any impact on your ability to find a job.

Definitely having a science degree is more valued than an arts and you get a higher salary. In my group they only hire people with Bachelor of Science degrees.
