Where to write c#/c++ code?

I know that many games and apps are coded in c# and c++. But where to write the code and compile it?

If you want to make games: unity for c# and unreal for c++. They both work with visual studio.

use visual studio community version. It is free. https://www.visualstudio.com/downloads/

I guess for c# you can use visual studio IDE. Check it on google and I guess also you can code c++ there. have a nice day ahead

hey but see even there are many popular apps which are made with python see if you just want to make apps than always start with python even python is used in many apps like GOOGLE,INSTAGRAM,REDDIT,DROPBOX and many more
