Indie game development

Hi, I would like to make my own indie game and I thinking how much knowledge I should have in C# or C++ which is two major languages in game development. I read a lot about Unreal blueprints but I'm not sure if it's something similar in Unity. I heard it can almost fully replace coding but I'm not sure. This is big step for me, I mean game developing, and I want to know as much as I can about it before I star making my first attempt. I think it's better to know a basic than struggling on basic mistakes.

Go with Unity and C#. Learn as much as you can about C#, and then head to www.Unity3D.com/learn and read through their documentation/tutorials/etc... They will have you go through ENTIRE projects to practice it, so you'll be "making" games while you're learning. That'll have you in a position to get started on what you're wanting to do. If you don't mind me asking, what type of games you planning to make? I'm a game developer myself.

First off, the only stupid question is the question never asked. Never forget that. C# is already easy, and scripting in Unity is also easy. No need for a crappy system like Blueprints. lol (If you go Unreal, learn C++ and don't rely solely upon Blueprints) Unity has an amazing interface, and its design (in my opinion) already makes it a lot easier to deal with than Unreal. Hit me up on Gmail. Feel free to ask whatever you want.

So there isn't a "easier" option (in Unity) like a blueprints? And are they make your developing easier? I have so many questions about that but I'm a little bit afraid to ask anyone. I don't want to bother anyone with stupid questions.
