I agree with Joe..... and am going to suggest html tutorials by Bucky Robert(YouTube). It'll help you a lot...... or you say thenewboston HTML tutorials.... its actually the same

The course material provided on SoloLearn is pretty good for the basics. If not, you can find quite a few good videos on youtube that cover it pretty well.

If you want to learn the basics, just look at the material here and on youtube first, then you can always ask here if there's anything specific you are struggling with.

Make a white page with text reads "Here's my assignment". lol It's pretty straight forward it you give it beyond 2 tries.
