Why does a contribution to in-course comments not help Contributor percentage?

I think that good comments in a course module can contribute greatly to learners' understanding, sometimes a lot more than a general question in the Q&A section, but it adds absolutely nothing to one's Contributor percentage. Does anyone else think this is backwards? What prompted me to write this is that I saw a great comment in the C++ course that really clarified the topic for me (thank you Dawood Abdollawi), but when I looked at his profile he had 0% for Contributor.

You get a token 50 XP for the 'Comment Master' badge (post 5 comments with 5 upvotes each) but I agree that there should be at least as many XP for comments/replies as questions/answers and they should count at least equally towards the Contributor percentage. https://code.sololearn.com/WPWPl1tlA2fO/?ref=app

@Jojo the hero revenge on the chat bot @Ipang by down voting, while inviting his followers to do the same. @Ipang the chat bot had switched off its sensitivity sensors, after all bots are supposed to do automation, not develop feelings, humans do that.

Спасибо, Анастасия! I do know that, for example, it takes ten items to get one percentage point, like 10 followers to get one percent in the Influencer section, but what I mean is that for the in-course comments (not in the Q&A part of the app), where you answer a question or clarify a point in the module, you can have over a hundred up-votes, but that doesn't count at all for any of your profile percentages. Of course, you do get the satisfaction of helping fellow learners. My argument is just that I think it's far more helpful than chatting up fellow learners in Q&A and really should count as a Contribution for Contributor percentage. :)

@Jojo said: "I think that good comments in a course module can contribute greatly to learners' understanding, sometimes a lot more than a general question in the Q&A section ..." "My argument is just that I think it's far more helpful than chatting up fellow learners in Q&A ..." So this is how you look at those helpful people in Q&A Discussion? that they're really just chitchat-ing over some silly question? probably next time we'll hear about Q&A contributors make their own infotainment show, that'd be great. I'm not going to follow your example to dishonor and disgrace others' efforts just because you believe you're more helpful or heroic over others. I just wanted to express uneasiness & underestimated feeling, being one of the Q&A silly "chatter", of course you were right, we, Q&A chat bots are all useless being in this community. Thank you very much, you are a very helpful hero.

probably, contributor percentage will be increased a bit later? I noticed, that it happens with all sections in profile. When I started doing versus, I had about 20 matches, but 0percent in profile. later it was increased...
