any programming language can be used in AI. basic ML frameworks like Tensorflow uses C++ & sickitLearn uses python. There are some ML frameworks by Apache written in JAVA as well.

ok basically what is machine learning or AI and how it works? you make a program to train computer and then provide it with some data. hopefully this would help https://medium.com/iotforall/how-do-machine-learning-programs-learn-215303338d7 Now you can do all this with any language which computer can understand. Python or other language which are used for this are used because it is easier to write clean code with them as most frameworks for this are long. But in the end you are not limited with python or C or java only.

AI - artificial intelligence. It basically meant that computers will be programmed such that they can do some task on their own. Its an umbrella term and used for overall idea. ML - machine learning. in this computer can learn from its past experience.

it depends on program. If you use Pascal or BASIC then i think it would be difficult but you can do it but if you want to do something like this i would suggest python rather than basic or pascal.
