What is your experience regarding tutorial video courses for programming?

I have watched several tutorial video series recently about programming in java, C#, etc. But they lack details. I felt the instructor assumes people who buy and watch these videos are very naive. So my overall experience about them is very negative. So I'd like to know your experience about them.

Videos can be helpful if you combine them with sololearn and freecodecamp. But you must be careful which tutorial you pick, there are a lot of people who only know a bit more than us but fancy themselves teachers.
