For java many tools but some is best like 1.eclipse 2.JDK 3.JUnit 4.Apache Maven Best of luck 😊

You gain that through practice. Switching ide / tools wont dramatically change anything. That being said, Intellijidea is quite good. You can try the community edition before actually purchasing.
