To me, this is harder than it looks. i see ruby and python to be very similar in syntax, i want help to compare and contrast this two languages, which is more efficient, in which field of programming. post your experience and knowledge of the two languages, help me through your ideas to know which to use.

Python has more 'general purposes' than Ruby, but the language is a tool, just choose the one more suitable to your goals.
