There's:

"Notepad++" which is basically an upgraded version of Notepad and the one I usually prefer to use

"Sublime Text Editor", I haven't actually used this one much but most people I see talking about this stuff say they use this one

and there's also "Atom Text Editor".

PhpStorm (especially) and WebStorm (both by JetBrains) are excellent choices. Try them out!
