1. camps (ID Tech is awesome) 2. books (if you use eclipse, get: Murachs programming java with eclipse) 3. tutorials (Thechernoproject has great tutorials) 4. practice (follow along with what you read, or see in books or tutorials) i sure am not a pro, but i get the best out of these four tips, and so do other people. hope i helped :)
