Be patient and involve in everything related to web, Make sure to learn basics of web developments and atleast something in each sub category of web development like frameworks of JS, CSS etc.

try practicing as much as possible, learn the languages you need -- not just from here, professional learning should require advanced knowledge as well! for any websites, i say try freecodecamp as that's on my roster too. learn from web developers on here and any other sites for inspiration as well.

just take your time and practice a lot. you can't become a developer without adequate practice. then try mini projects by yourself. you can also post some of your code on sololearn and let people comment and help you better your code. all the best.

If you're like me you could be lucky and find an employer who is looking more for enthusiasm and experience in programming in general so they can cross train you and teach you how they want you to work. Otherwise from what i know its what @Vinny says. Like maybe make a few simple websites so you can showcase them. Some employers like candidates with good design skills in photoshop etc. too
