A. Will you? Big yes! You can get a rewarding job without a college degree in CS or whatever. PS: A CS degree will not hurt, it will definitely be an advantage. B. Why? Because of the increasingly high demand for developers in the industry. C. How? Well, it's all about getting employers discover that you can code, and code very well. 1. Contribute to Open-source: If you are committed to contributing to a company's open source code, your chances of landing a job with them are high. 2. Hackathons: Attend their hackathons, attempt creative projects and do the demo presentation. Interact with their staff present and market yourself. 3. Bootcamps: Although quite expensive in some cases, chances are very high that you'll land a job at the end of a Bootcamp. 4. Freelance: You just keep on doing freelance coding and you'll get noticed. 5. Startups: Before you land a job with that big tech company, you can work for a startup where recruitment isn't as tough, and developers are in demand. These do not replace standard recruitment requirements like actually knowing how to code real good and having an enticing resume. Wish you the best! 😜
