Front-end development in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX  Back-end development in mySQL, PHP, custom CMS development, WordPress development Project management and internet business courses prepare you to work as a full-stack developer or to launch your own business Plus, knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and other applications and maybe animation software. In short, this is what it takes to be a full fledged web developer/designer

No you need to know html5 for construct your page, css3 for designing interface, JavaScript(jquery) for user interaction and ajax this about languages you should know. and it is better to know some other things like programs used in designing like Photoshop and so.... that all you need to become front end developer(web designer). i wish you achieve your goals(insha allah).

if you want to build a static web site that has no DB connection and back end code that allow users to do sophisticated jobs like login, querying a DB, or perform transactions, then, front end development is quite enough, and that is very rare. On the other hand, if you want a fully functional web site, you will need a back end programming language, such as php, c#, visual basic, python, Ruby, ...etc.
