@KK C++ and C# are EXTREMELY versatile languages. C# was developed by Microsoft C# only operate if .net is present I use C++ more than C#

I learned Visual BASIC for creating Windows applications. Visual C++ is more difficult in my opinion.

Visual Basic is -- or should be -- obsolete by now. No point learning it. Of the two, C# is a better choice, but then you may as well learn Java or, if you're brave, C++. The latter will guarantee you never have to learn other languages.
