Which OS is preferable for coding in Python - Windows or Ubuntu?

Your Operating System really doesn't impact coding very much unless you are planning on using a command-line compiler(emacs) or working directly with the command line. If you are planning on doing that, Ubuntu would be preferable, but if not either OS would work.
