How many languages do you normally use for your job?

To all of the real programmers and actual developers, how many programming languages do you use and what kind of job do you use? And how many programming languages do you recommend that beginner like should be trying to learn?

2-3 Java with SQL and sometimes C# The company is using Java and I need to link it with databases. In the background a C# program is making sure that the data is encrypted well and completed, also for encryption and decryption. Because it's doing it faster than Java

As a beginner you shouldn't focus on various languages. Find a language you like and stick with it until you are somewhat of a pro at it. Once you completely master it, then and only then start thinking of learning other languages.

I assume C++, Java, and Python are good enough for me to try to learn. Obviously, I'll learn more than that. I'm not going to stop there, but you get the point.
