Hey guys what are your favorite backend language ?

I began with python cuz I found in it the best way to start when you're learning how to code. After that I tried php and java. I really love these 3 languages but I still prefer python.

For backend I have long time used Php as this was almost the unique option... But today, I was fallen in love with Python, and particulary with Bottle as backend: I will never return to Php if not mandatory ;P (maybe Java a day, if real high needs of mucher server side efficiency, for benefits of semi-compiling ^^)

@Siddarth Saraf: I really like JS a lot, but I think that if Python would becomes available at frontend (embed or linked in html <script>), I would left JS for him without any scrupulousness ;)

@Visph That will be a great revolutionary change in the sense that high level languages will be used in the web platform directly in script tag. Like you prefer python, I would prefer Ruby.

I first started with an infamous but very easy-to-learn language called Batch. It is easy to learn, but once one realizes its full potential, it is nearly impossible to forget how powerful it is. Then I learned HTML, CSS, and W3.CSS. After I was pleased with web designing, I started Python, although I didn't master Python completely, I learned it til I was fairly happy with what I was doing with my life. Then I started C++ and I have to say, it's the best language I've ever learned. So powerful, yet programmer-friendly from the start! It's a programming language that I will never leave! Upvote if you agree that C++ should be more famous than Java! PaperTronics
