Is Javascript programming language ?

i heard somewhere in my learning process javascript is not a programing language, but here in js intro "javascript is most popular program language " I getting confused now.

First thing How was Logo language be the programming language? (the stupid turtle language that move molasses ass around on the screen)
While output of logo is just bitmap not .exe or something like that.But It is called as programming language???

it is! Any language that can solve an algorithm is called a programming language, HTML, CSS and SQL, for example, aren't!
