how to set up links to different sections?

how can I set up links to take me to different parts of my page

we can use classes here

take one part of your page and give it a unique name. for example; <a id="Sports_section">Sports Section</a>

then create a hyperlink to that using another set of texts. fot example;
<a href="#Sports_section">Jump to Sports section </a>

so now you have a hyperlink that links your Sports page to another page on the sane site.
