How to use python in laptop?

which version will be better and which IDE to be used?

I disagree with Michelle about Python2.7 . Python3 is better, and it makes no difference to beginners besides print. Get Python3. Python2 has no future. However, I agree with Michelles choice of IDEs; I personally use pycharm on a daily basis.

python.org I'm using 3.6, go to downloads and check the various versions to get the x64 one. i use that, but have many others. it is the simplest, but the thing is you have to understand the basics and then you can get the tools. there are courses that recommend jupyter, and it's great, if you have guided lectures or a tutor. for reading and trying on your own, check automate the boring stuff, or think python, two great and free books if you read them online
