Should I hide my code?

Lately I've been working on a project and would like to have some type of feedback from others. However I've noticed a lot of people will just copy and paste (save) code and call it there own. Should I take the risk or just make it open to everyone(open-source)?

Until your project doesn't gets completed, let it be private. Once it's done, you could make it public. If anyone tries to copy your code, then he would have to accept the sololearn community guidelines. This means, the original author has no need to worry about his code being copied. You're not risking anything making it public. The original author gets the fame :]

Whenever you publish your code you automatically agree to show it to others, right? ;) You don't have a control over who does what with it. However, if you see your code re-published by someone else you can report it. That's stealing. Moreover, if someone takes your code and pretends it's his own - he shall be banned from Sololearn.
