Is it common to start off losing challenges?

Lately I haven't won any challenges yet against other players. I understand the topics but when it comes to the questions asked they don't make sense sometimes and the timer really makes me feel rushed and I panic. Anyone else start of like this? I'll continue to challenge no matter what but my ratio is really bad right now. lol

Yes, it's normal. Especially, if you just finished a course. You can practice by going to the Quiz Factory and rate quiz submissions there. This way you are learning how to answer quizzes (sometimes not really tied to your coding skills ;) and you contribute to the quiz variety.

If you started off winning challenges, something would have been wrong. With more practice, you'll get good at it soon. :>

● take the time to analyse lost quizzes did you lose because of ■ maths skills? ■ not knowing concepts? or ■ first time seeing this language feature? for all these google up, pass them in the compiler if it is a code. try to peek in the logic. losses are normal since you are learning don't be afraid !
