The difference between Junior and Senior developer?

how can the one distinguish a senior developer or a junior, and in what level does the one can call him\her self a Senior developer?

Junior - usually 2 or less years of experience in programming. Senior- usually 5 years or more of experience, and ability to manage others in large projects.

is it just the years of experience that distinguish a Senior developer from a Junior one? I've seen some developers more than 5-8 years in programming, but i don't think they are at that level of professionally that you could call them Senior developer

Junior & Senior developer are achivements in Sololearn. Junior developer means getting 5 upvotes on your code and senior developer getting 50 upvotes on your code.
