I dropped out at 5th year of Electrical and Communication Engineering to become a Software Developer.

I was pursuing a degree before i got interest in programming after which i slowly stopped going to classes and finally quit. Now am close to a full stack web developer. And i dont feel like going back to school. should I go back to study ECE or Computer Science or IT. or should i not?

You dropped out for IT so that obvious choice is IT. In the end it is your choice but choose wisely because you'll have to do it for a very long time. Turn your addiction into your passion.

if you want to make a living out of programming then computer science is the way to go, for me, especially as a web dev

I think you are, the only difference is that you aren't guided towards it
