difference between strong and bold text

hi..we use bold tag only for bolding a letter while strong In addition to the bolding used for describe a important subject and search engines like google use strong tag to rank a page.

bold is a physical text formatting, which does nothing more than making text bold in appearance whereas strong is a logical text formatting which is use to give strong emphasis on the word and it's helpful in search engines optimisation. Though the look of both the tag will be same.
