Now this question is troubling me. I am an undergraduate and was thinking of doing my graduation in CSE

Now I was a bit taken a back when I read an article which says there will be IT automation because of which the job opportunities will keep on reducing. So if there is no job there is no meaning I guess. Although I know entrepreneurship is there but still. Please suggest me what to do Is the automation really possible and will it be good for programmers like us ?

To create automation coders should be there, but less in number. Most of today's coder category people will fall into the maintenance category tomorrow. Consider a scenario in which I need to put a huge stone to a certain height. In olden days we hire people, say 10 to do this. These days we will use a crane and that needs only an operator instead of 10 on the site. But still there are people who makes cranes and people who maintain and service cranes. Hope that help you

@Mayank Srivasthava CSE has a broad scope. If you love computers and programming go for it. There wouldn't be a situation in which you remain jobless. Make sure you have a skill and you are master in it after CSE.

@Praveen kumar what you are saying is true but my real question remains unanswered should I see myself a CSE graduate or shall I go into some other field.
