Coding from scratch is one way of building ur skills in the particular field. Getting templates are okay, when u are to complete a project, and u have limited time

I think it actually depends on the situation you are in... if you are learning it and trying to become better everyday then I would definitely suggest to write your own code on the other hand, if you are supposed to present it to someone, you are going to count money or grades for it and you are time bound then you might wanna think about simply coping the templates and modifying them.... but even tough if you are time bound I would still suggest to do it by your self.....given that you have the required time and skills.

Me personally I learn more from templates because your way of addressing a situation is not the only one and most of the times there's a better way easier way to do it. I like to look at multiple types and build my own from there
