Os for an ancient laptop. Please help

my laptop is an ancient dual core with 4 gigs of ram and because running Windows just sucks as hell I decided to switch from Windows to Linux. after some research I made a list of operating systems that I think may run well and make my laptop usable again. the operation systems are,

chromium OS , Android 86x marshmallow, remix os, Phoenix os, Ubuntu 14*, mint,kali

I want,
sublime text
chrome as web browser
a local PHP and database server
FTP client
STABILITY

I need help in choosing an OS

I have two gigs less RAM than yours with a dual-core Intel Atom and I'm running Windows 10 with Visual Studio on it.

I use Zorin, an Linux Os recommended by Maz, Its desktop design is beautiful. I like it very much, it's light and Window allike.
