Where to start coding?

I'm a beginner and I've looked through a couple of tips and one that keeps coming back is 'just start coding'. I've done part of a course on here, but I wouldn't know where to start if I want to code something. Do you have any tips of what to code or where to find examples of code I can do something with? I'm looking for something for JavaScript or C++

Try Project Euler, Martyr2's Mega Project Ideas

For me, I simply select any topic and start coding in the Sololearn code playground.

Well, I actually meant I've already started a course, but want to practice coding myself too (because filling in the blanks doesn't teach you everything). Do you have any tips about that? About starting to code for the first time in the Code Playground? Because I have no idea where to start or what to code
