What do you see in Python's future over the next 5 years?

Python and JavaScript seem to be the most popular languages for beginners these days. Python is more intuitive, but JS seems to have more momentum. Do you see Python dominating the multi-purpose world in the future or developing more as a niche language for data science, security, and other specific fields?

Thats interesting, I didn't know that python is the most learned language. Is Python the future of programming? Maybe, I think it will for sure be around for years to come but if its the language of the future you just can't really tell. But I do see it as one of the biggest competitors in the multi purpose world.

It definitely will stay around for a long time. I just hope that its very low barrier of entry will convince everyone that it's time to switch from learning Pascal to Python in elementary schools...
